Catholicism makes up most of Croatia's religious views. Approximately 90% of the population are Catholic but the Croatians are generally more easy going about religion and don't follow the religion to strictly.  They also have their own language which is Croation. The Croatian language is very similar to the the languages of other countries surrounding it such as Serbian. The two are pretty much the exact same language in fact  friend of mine from Croatian is giving Serbian lessons even though she never was taught the Serbian language.

Croatia is a parliamentary democracy and vote for their own leader just like the United States. They gained their independence from Yugoslavia in 1991 and wrote their own constitution in 1990. Even though they are a fresh democracy the country is running stably.
